Jack Dawkins

Jack Dawkins, better known as the Artful Dodger, is a young pickpocket with a knack for getting into and out of trouble. He's the leader of a gang of child criminals on the streets of London, and he's always up for a good time. One day, he meets Oliver Twist, a young boy who has just arrived in London. Oliver is an innocent and naive child, and the Dodger takes him under his wing. He teaches Oliver how to pickpocket and how to survive on the streets. Oliver soon becomes a valuable member of the gang, and he and the Dodger become close friends. However, their friendship is put to the test when Oliver is arrested for pickpocketing. The Dodger helps Oliver escape, but he is forced to leave London and go on the run. The Dodger is a complex and fascinating character. He's a thief and a con artist, but he's also loyal and caring.
